Pastor John Collins calls a spade a spade |
Prosperity doctrine. Rich churches. Fake healing. Name it claim it. New Ageism.
The imposters who preach the doctrine that did not come from
God are undermining the Gospel, God and Jesus Christ. The Holy Bible tells Christians that we are
supposed to call those people out and show them for the imposters that they
are. Pastor John Collins
of John Collins Ministries
and Love That Cross Ministries has
no problem calling it as it really is without any hesitation at all.
The Holy Bible stands as our book of guidance to use as our
standards, the Gospel that teaches us about the commandments, our forgiveness,
and our salvation. It is not a platform
to reword, rewrite and use for the benefit of those who conform to the beliefs
that liberal society promotes. Rewriting
the Gospel leads down a road of deception and destruction.
“I am offended when Christians are too afraid to stand in that truth. The Apostles were not afraid to call people out by name and Jesus gave the perfect example of speaking boldly for the truth of God and not allowing the opinions and feelings of others to get in the way. All of the prophets that God sent to Israel spoke the truth about the hypocrisy of the people. We have become soft. We have grown weak in our faith and have succumbed to the disease of political correctness.” Pastor John Collins, April 2018.
It is time for Christians to strengthen
their faith and take a stand and call the imposters what they are. God and Jesus Christ have been kicked out of
school, government, family and churches, and it time for us to turn to God, to
turn back to God so that our nation can be healed. It is time for a change says Pastor John Collins.
Pastor John Collins writes:
“And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when
you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Assuredly,
I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in
the day of judgment than for that city!” Matthew 10:14-15 (NKJV).
There are people in this world that are willing to tell the
truth about the condition of others in this world. Some are willing to call a
spade a spade with no shame and with confidence in the strength and power of
the word of God. Jesus didn’t hesitate to call evil what it is, evil. Jesus
didn’t hesitate to call the blind leaders blind. Jesus didn’t hesitate to say
that many showed up for the food for their bellies and not their souls. God
gave us discernment for a reason.
There are many people in this world that have so-called
positions of authority or platforms that they use to undermine God, to undermine
the gospel and to spit in the face of Jesus. There are many wolves in sheep’s
clothing and it is necessary to be able to see them for the imposters that they
are.
When a person is actively behaving against God and someone calls them on
it then do not say to them, ‘you don’t know their heart, only God can know
their heart.’ People want to get so offended at supposed judgment from
Christians who know the truth. I am offended when Christians are too afraid to
stand in that truth. The Apostles were not afraid to call people out by name
and Jesus gave the perfect example of speaking boldly for the truth of God and
not allowing the opinions and feelings of others to get in the way. All of the
prophets that God sent to Israel spoke the truth about the hypocrisy of the
people. We have become soft. We have grown weak in our faith and have succumbed
to the disease of political correctness.
Oprah and all of her soul Sunday guests that conform to new
ageism, Osteen, Meyer, Hinn, White, Jakes, Dollar and all of the prosperity
preachers, all Universalists that believe that there are many paths to God and
so many others are leading people astray and down the broad road to
destruction.
We have been given the Holy Bible so that we may come to know God,
know His Commandments and know Jesus died for our sins so that we may receive
forgiveness and salvation. We are meant to use this knowledge that is held in
the word of God so that we can see clearly when those around us are not of God
but of this world. We are meant to protect our faith and become strong by
standing with God against this evil world. It does not mean that we resort to
violence or abusive name-calling but we can rebuke and make known the offenses
of others. We must be willing to uphold our beliefs and not shame others for
being honest about the lost and deceived. To say nothing is to approve of the
deception. Be willing to hold firm to your beliefs and be willing to speak
boldly the truth of God.
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the
kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” Matthew
7:21 (NKJV)
LOVE THAT CROSS PASTOR JOHN COLLINS
Doing the will of God means that we need to actually read a
good version of the Bible, not the retranslated and transliterations that are
manipulated to serve a specific church or doctrine. Pastor John Collins
recommends reading KJV or NKJV or NIV edition of the Holy Bible,
to understand what God has in store for us through the salvation offered by the
sacrifice of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Then after reading, learn to hear what God is telling us, and learn to
become obedient. As Pastor
Collins puts it, the Bible does not tell us that God is a great
genie in the sky, offering us everything we want if we give enough money to a
church. It tells us that we need to work
out our salvation with fear of God, awe of God, to recognize that He is bigger
than anything that this world has to offer either in wealth or in tribulations.
That is what has been lost in the scramble for popularity and a full offering
plate.
Preaching is not a popularity contest. It is a battle to win souls for Jesus Christ
and for God. Pastor
John Collins is a warrior in faith and
fearlessly will stand on the Gospel and the words in the Holy Bible to bring
people back to the foot of the Cross. Pastor John Collins
style of preaching is often loud, and it always reaches into your heart and
makes you think, whether you like what he is saying or not. Often Pastor
John Collins will tell his listeners that he would rather offend
someone and make them angry by telling them what they need to hear rather than
padding the truth with what they want to hear.
There is a battle raging against the evil of this world. Pastor
John Collins is up in the front of the line, fighting for our
eternal lives. Pastor
John Collins not only calls for revival of faith, Pastor John Collins
calls for redemption of the Gospel, and Pastor
John Collins is calling for change, now.
Pastor
John Collins preaches from the heart. His no nonsense style, as he says, “grabs you
by the britches”, in old time revival-style preaching. Pastor
John Collins is not going to preach and tell you what you want to
hear, Pastor
John Collins is going to preach and tell you what you need to hear
to get yourself right with God, to find your way to the foot of the Cross, to
seek the salvation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Pastor
John Collins, it is a matter of eternal life or eternal death, and
the choice is ours to make.
Sundays at 10:00 a.m. and 6 p.m. mountain time, Pastor John Collins
can be heard on Heaven’s Country Radio at www.heavenscountry.com.
Daily devotionals and thoughts by Pastor John Collins
can be read on Facebook
and Twitter. Pastor John Collins
brings an enthusiasm to the pulpit that is matched by no one. “I get a little loud” says Pastor John Collins,
and he gives a presentation of what the Bible represents: Pastor John Collins
will “tell it, teach it as it was 2000 years ago.” Pastor John Collins
loves God. As Pastor Collins puts it,
the Bible is beautiful and everyone needs what it says. Links to sermons, interviews, radio programs,
